BROWNIE
CEILING : BROWNIE Blanket

BROWNIE Ceiling Blanket, the formaldehyde free range of glass mineral wool insulation manufactured by PGF Insulation employs formaldehyde free binder that is free of formaldehyde, phenol or any other artificial chemicals. The insulation blanket acts as a highly effective barrier to heat flow, noise and controls condensation, contributing to the effective construction of comfortable, energy efficient buildings. The insulation blanket range encompasses multiple thicknesses and dimensions to suit typical ceiling systems and to satisfy a broad spectrum of building requirements.

The insulation blanket provide fire safety, thermal and acoustic insulation while also being soft and less dusty. BROWNIE Ceiling Blanket is inherently non-combustible and therefore the insulation blanket won’t burn if exposed to fire. BROWNIE Ceiling Blankents are supplied in various thickness to suit the performance requirements. BROWNIE Ceiling Slabs are installed by laying them on top of the ceiling in between the ceiling joists. They are also suitable for installation under floors for added energy savings. For safe handling instructions please refer to installation instruction sheet.

  • FORMALDEHYDE-FREE

Formaldehyde has traditionally been used as part of the binder in glass mineral wool insulation. Although there is no health risk with the traditional product, formaldehyde at higher level may cause irritation and sensitivity. PGF Insulation formaldehyde-free insulation utilises an innovative new binder that eliminates binder-related formaldehyde emissions during manufacturing and once installed, will not off-gas formaldehyde in the indoor environment.
